Wild Lights

We took Cruz to the Living Deserts Wild Lights with Nana and Papa Keith. Cruz wanted to hang out with his Nana and Papa Keith the whole time and loved looking at all the Christmas lights. We saw a Grinch who stole Christmas play. I didn't think Cruz would sit and watch it but he did and was very intrigued. At the end of the show he got to meet the Grinch who he liked. Go figure wanted no part of Santa but liked the Grinch. Funny Kid.

Cruz & Grandma Trina

Grandma Trina came over to give Cruz his Christmas gift. He got Jingle the husky pup and his book. When you read certain lines in the book the stuffed dog makes noises. Cruz loved it and thought is was hilarious. He also enjoyed seeing his Grandma.

Cruz's Santa Photo 2011

This years Santa photo didn't go so well. Cruz wanted nothing to do with Santa even Santa giving him candy didn't help. Oh well every ones gotta have a crying Santa photo. Shea and I think this photo is hilarious as soon as Cruz got away from Santa he was fine. Poor little guy mom just had to have a Santa photo this year.

Our New Baby Boy

We have another baby boy on the way. We are very excited for Cruz to have a little brother and for us to have another son. We can't wait to meet him and introduce him to you all. He is Due April 19, 2012.

17 Months Old

Cruz is 17 months old. He weighed in at 22lbs and 31 1/2 inches tall not much on the weight but he grew an inch and a half in two months so it all must be going to his height. He is a very happy kid loves wrestling with his dog and playing outside. When we take him to the park he is more interested in playing ball with the people playing catch then playing on the playground equipment he has quite an arm and throws the ball really well I think he is going to be a little ball player. He is very independent and loves doing everything by himself when he does need help he holds out his little hand it is too cute. He loves shoes wants to have them on all the time so we bought him slippers for the house which he loves. He can say cat, hot and whats that. He says whats that to everything and he thinks all food is hot. We can't wait to hear more words everything he does with exception to the tantrums is cute even some tantrums are cute when he gets upset he throws himself on the ground and cries and then looks up to make sure we are paying attention so funny. He is still very much a daddy's boy I get my days that he wants only me that I cherish because they are few and far between. We love watching him grow and do new things just hope it doesn't go too fast.

Halloween 2011

Cruz had a blast this Halloween. We went to the living desert and to the mall. Cruz got so much candy he was a very happy boy. It was really fun to watch him run around in is costume and get hyped up on candy.  I put up a lot of pictures because it was so hard to pick my favorites I just thought he was too cute.

We took Cruz to San Diego for a photo shoot. My sister set this up for us with her sister in law Tess who took these photos and did an amazing job.

Day at the Park

The weather was finally nice so mom and I took Cruz to the park. Cruz had such a great time playing on the play ground it was great!

Cruz and his quad

Cruz absolutely loves his quad it is by far his favorite thing right now. When its too hot to go outside he rides around in the house. He has gotten a lot better about not running into things including the dog (poor Akela).

Cruz is Walking!

Cruz started walking yesterday well he has been taking 3 to 4 steps for a week or so now but yesterday was the first long walk he has taken. Here are two videos of him on his second day of walking. We think he is doing pretty good already he has just been cruising around all day. We are so proud of our little guy!

Our Beach Vacation

Our beach vacation this year started out a little rocky we almost didn't make it with Cruz running high teething fevers the day before we were going to go but we made it. Cruz was pretty fussy the first day still not feeling very good but was better on day two. He did a lot of sleeping on dads chest on the beach trying to feel better. The last day he felt the best and with the help of mom and dad was running towards the waves and as soon as they would come back up would turn and run away from them laughing it was so funny. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back again soon.
